Excellent Laptop,
Purchased this for my wife and I have to admit – I got a little laptop envy. I have an older model 17 in HP laptop and it is about 2-3 lbs heavier. I hate bringing it on trips. This laptop is light for the size, great screen, and great build quality. Especially like the aluminum case. My laptop is plastic and there are small chips all the way around but that’s about the only thing I would knock it on. HP makes some great laptops at very reasonable prices. Can’t go wrong with this one. And DDR3 RAM is cheap right now. Buy it separately and install yourself. It’s a 2 minute process. This laptop can take up to 16GBs of RAM!

|Best Price Ever!,
I wanted this computer and looked on QVC, Amazon (of course!) and the HP website before buying this computer. Hands down, this was the best price! It was 300 dollars less from this seller than QVC and 150 dollars less than on the HP website and they were having a sale! This computer has excellent graphics and one of the best sound systems ever. I love the gaming graphics; it is a fanstastic computer all around!

|A little disappointed,
I had a wonderful Dell Inspiron for six years before it became non-repairable. Dell’s support was so awful during the repair attempts, that the experience pushed me to HP. This HP laptop was disappointing because my old setup was not easily compatible. First, I went to use my wireless mouse and there was no blue-tooth on this computer! I had to immediately buy a USB bluetooth device that cannot be plugged in when I boot up (or it takes about five extra minutes) and I must reinstall the device about every fourth bootup. Next, a great label printer I have had for many years was not compatible with the 64-bit system and so far have not found a way to load it under 32-bit compatibility. Next, the sound is okay once you attach external Bose speakers, but average via the PC itself. The system does not feel six years faster compared to my old system, so a bit surprised there. The graphics are good, but it’s easy to impress me there after graphics card issues on the last PC. Overall, I got what I paid for (good price at $650), but not necessarily happy with the ready to use status. I have not had to test HP’s support yet, but may try once I absolutely need my label printer to work. It will get you by for the basics, but be ready for a little frustration trying to getting a similar setup from a previous PC.
