I bought this from KDMU.
But there is something strange about descriptions and reviews for this product. There seem to be multiple sellers, but they all have the same description and the same reviews. When I commented on sellers feedback page, the seller said I must have confused them with someone else. I didn’t. I bought this from KDMU, but it is listed the same under many company names.
The picture on Amazon, and the brand on Amazon is different than what I received. The wattage is different than is advertised, it is higher. The seller said the same thing to me, in an email, that I read they said to others: “they sent me higher wattage and that is better”. My friend who is a long-time IT expert said that is not necessarily true.
And they have this right on their description: DEMAND THAT ALL COMPETING VENDORS SUPPLY EXACTLY THE POWER SUPPLY ADVERTISED. DON’T LET THEM TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE GETTING SOMETHING “BETTER”, “UPGRADED”, OR “HIGHER QUALITY”.
Very strange.
When I buy something I expect to get the brand I order with the specs I order.
I expect the product to look like the picture in the ad and be the same brand.
It appears to me that this seller seems to think that it is ok to ship whatever they want, and it doesn’t have to match what they advertise. I’m keeping and using it, too much of a hassle to return and I didn’t have the time. I would not buy from this seller again.
The power supply is so loud I can hear it from another room, and am now shopping from another one. I would have returned it at first, but I had to get the computer I bought if for up and running at the time and couldn’t wait. Now I can’t live with the loudness anymore.
