It takes a lot of work to get stable, but then a joy to use,
Out of the box it was a lovely looking unit with a great looking display. However as soon as I clicked on the EULA, the system enabled the orientation sensor, which wasn’t properly oriented and caused hours of issues. Two runs through Windows Update, a BIOS upgrade, and using Windows Services to turn off the YMC service finally got the system into a state where it could be used.
System is great for reading and programming, and even does graphic intensive games pretty well if you run in “Medium” mode. It can get a little warm if you are actually using it in your lap, and it’s a little heavy to use as a tablet if you don’t have a stand.
Still glad I got this, but for $1K I would really expect Lenovo to make sure these things shipped in fully working order.
