Recently I bought a Samsung Galaxy 2 7″ tablet and was very worried about finding a keyboard that would work with it. I had read lots of reviews and a keyboard was going to be hard to find, I assumed. I bought this one at Best Buy and like it b/c: it is Bluetooth yet doesn’t have to be charged up ahead of time – it uses AAA batteries, so no waiting! It is also an easel. It was a breeze to set up and works great. Considerably cheaper than the ASUS comparable tablet keyboard. By using this though, I am compromising an additional battery from the ASUS model but I like the convenience of not having to attach the keyboard to the tablet. Good value.

I received this keyboard as a gift and can honestly say I love it. I have used it with 3 different systems – a Windows 7 laptop, a Windows 8 desktop and 2 Android devices (Xoom tablet being the primary). It paired easily and works well with all of them.
The keys have a shallow but noticeable click, remniscient of “old-school” keyboards. They don’t take much pressure, but don’t easily press either – so unlike my laptop keyboard where I find myself hitting keys by mistake…these are much better and slightly spaced which helps. The keyboard itself seems well constructed and like it could take a good deal of use/abuse without breaking. It also has a “hard” power-off switch, as well as sleeping functionality. When it’s inactive for a few minutes (seems like 5-10 or so) it turns off bluetooth until you hit a key again. Some may find that annoying but considering my battery life so far, no complaints from me.
I’ve used it for a week now everyday for 8 hours a day and no sign of wearing down the 4 AA rechargeable batteries I put in it.
My only annoyance with it is the very small arrow keys (about half normal size) take some getting used to, and I wish it was backlit. Other than that, this is the perfect portable keyboard.
