OK, I have this old HP Pavilion laptop. I keep it around because there are a few things I do that require Windows. I don’t need it much, but when I do need it, I REALLY need it. The problem is, it’s four years old and even web browsing slows it down.
I finally got sick of drumming my fingers while I waited for it. Happily, with this memory kit, I was able to significantly improve the performance of the old computer.
Whenever you buy memory, double check your computer’s specifications and then check them again. If you don’t buy the right memory, it just won’t work.
For me, this worked great in an HP Pavilion DV6000 series laptop, which, though old and getting slow, remains the only computer I was ever really happy with. Hopefully this memory, which was easy to install and arrived much sooner than I expected, will keep the old machine running for another couple of years.
